In addition to vehicle crash and sled testing, APV Test Centre undertakes novel testing on all kinds of structures for a multitude of industries. This work requires test protocols to be developed and suitable test jigs and fixtures to be designed and manufactured.
We have a fully equipped workshop to fabricate the most complicated structures to support our test work. Materials used range from low carbon steels, to aircraft grade aluminium, to ultra-high strength super alloys that can withstand the 150G decelerations that we commonly experience during a test.
